A lady's group for the Lady reenactor who wishes to honor her foremothers by stepping back and living life in her shoes for a moment in time. We are dedicated to portraying these courageous ladies as honestly and accurately as possible.

This email list will welcome those who share our views, research, recipes, a place to learn new "period" skills, discuss suppliers, costuming and more BUT is not a place to expound your hatred of skirts, or the "womanly skills"

It is a group dedicated to the life of the 19th century woman- not the 20th.
All topics concerning "reconstructing" and the portrayal of the average woman of the 19th century are welcome- from where to get a new bonnet (or how to make it) to campfire cooking. It is a place to ask friends what they thought of a particular research book- good or bad. It is a place where a Lady may gather with her friends, and share the joys and sorrows of her choice of character in reenactment.
